Is Everybody Happy?

Apparently most of us are quite content with the salary we receive. Eighty percent of the respondents indicate they are either Satisfied or Very Satisfied with their compensation. Only 3% are Very Dissatisfied.

However, the amount of income from which we derive our satisfaction varies widely. While the average for the Very Satisfied is a sizeable $74,000, the range is from $35,000 to $131,000. Although the average for the Very Dissatisfied is much lower at $49,000, the range is still a very broad $23,000 to $97,000.

Salary Satisfaction

Non-Monetary SatisfactionMoney isn’t everything, so we asked how happy people are with the non-monetary aspects of their jobs. Apparently, most of us are happy campers with 84% responding they are Satisfied or Very Satisfied.
